Not great. Mint overpowers hops and bitterness expected in an IPA. NoweeWayee

12 oz. Bottle
PKG: 090717

Poured into a Trillium glass a pretty nice clean/clear dark golden yellow color, pretty nice carbonation, with a pretty nice thick/creamy one-finger white head, which leaves some pretty nice creamy sticky lacing behind. The nose is malty, hoppy, yeasty, with some mint/mango. The taste is malty, hoppy, yeasty, with some mint/mango. Medium body, ABV hidden nicely. Overall, a tasty brew.

L: Pours a slightly hazy copper yellow color with a small white head that dissipates rather quickly, and leaves a small bit of head on top, with some lacing around the glass.

S: Strong note of mint at first blast, with notes of mango followed by some light crackery malt.

T: The mint is very much at the forefront but is balanced nicely by the sweet mango and a light cracker malt backbone, there is a slightly harsh bitterness from the mint.

F: Light to medium body with higher carbonation.

O: Overall this is a unique and interesting beer, the mint just gives it a little bit too much of a harsh bitterness.

Not the best shorts. A little yeasty. The mint was much more balanced than the mango which tasted artificial.

12 fl. oz. beer
Served in a pint glass

L - It pours a hazy orange/yellow color. It has an inch of off-white head that leaves some lacing.

S - I got the mango right off the bat. The mint came through as it warmed a bit. The is citrus as well. Grapefruit mixes in there.

T - The taste has some mild citrus that builds as I consume. The mango is there. I have to search for the mint. I get hints from time to time.

F - Moderate

O - This is a pretty good beer. The citrus and mango bring a feeling of summer to a arctic winter evening. This would be great to have in the summer. There is just enough citrus to make me want another drink as soon as I swallow.

Light golden bodied ale with lively carbonation. The nose has light citrus and herbal notes. A very interesting blend here - the mint is more of a backend player rather than front and center. Ripe mango and papaya dominates the front end. Easy drinking and refreshing with plenty of bitterness which really comes across in the aftertaste.
