On tap at the brewpub on 7/8.
A: Very nice burnt orange color. A big white head appeared and left tons of sticky lace.
A: Smells of big citrus hops with a slight pine note. The crystal malt gives it a balancing sweetness.
T: Follows the nose. Notes of mango, apricot, and pine sap. Starts citrusy, sweet in the middle and bitter on the end just as it should be.
M: Just about perfect here. Full bodied and perfect carbonation.
O: Great ipa from shorts! A wonderful showcase for the multiple hops used in this brew. One I think they should definitely bottle. This beer concluded my trip to shorts, and is making me very anxious to return next year. Cheers!
