Appearance: a solid brown. good clarity. not much of a tan head that fades fairly quickly
Smell: strong bourbon smell. strong alcohol. oaky and vanilla qualities.
Taste: starts off with a bourbon taste that inlcudes a barrel character and some vanilla. alcohol permeates throughout this. slight funkiness from the ginger in the background.
Mouthfeel: seems very heavy. not sticky. great heavy feel
Overall: a tasty and interesting bourbon barrel beer.
