Flakey dry big bathtub suds cover a golden, mostly clear body. Nose is light sour grain, mildly nutty.
Taste reminded of our rice cooker after being left on, slowly burning the rice remains. Long-lasting toasty "instant wild rice" flavor, like a wild rice meal. Not smokey -- but certainly meaty, like meat, rice, and oil. Light fruitiness in the mouth reminded of fresh plums. Medium body and carbonation.
Interesting brew as far as unique taste goes, but not something I'd have more than one of.
