Poured from a can into a pint glass
Appearance – The beer pours a clear dep golden amber color with a big head of puffy white foam. The head fades very rapidly, leaving a good deal of foamy lace on the sides of the glass.
Smell – The aroma is strongest of a toffee and caramel smell mixed with notes of bready malt and some light earthy and herbal hop smell.
Taste – The taste starts with a crisp lightly toasted bready flavor mixed with notes of grain and a sizable level of caramel. There is a touch of earthy and floral hop, both of which fade as the taste advances, being replaced by more caramel and some toffee. Toward the end, there is a surge in the malt, with some doughy tastes and a bit more toasted malt coming into play, leaving one with a moderately sweet, but easy natured lager taste to linger on the tongue.
Mouthfeel – The body of the brew is medium in crispness with a moderate carbonation level.
Overall – A lightly sweeter, but balanced lager. Overall, rather pleasant and easy drinking.

Mild haze to the otherwise clear, dirty gold color. Small but lasting head. Excellent blanketing and streaky lace.
Mainly malty aroma. No notable hop.
The taste starts with a bland pale malt flavor. The body is thinner than expected. The carbonation strengthens this effect. The hop is stronger than expected with a straight up bitterness that lasts well into the aftertaste.
