Pretty cool location near Union Station and Coors Field. Large bar in a multi-level brewpub. Service was a little slow and focused on the locals. Large variety of styles. The beers all range from okay to good. Nothing revolutionary. Did not eat the food.

I was glad we got to visit Wynkoop. It is a bit of a throwback to earlier brewpubs. Massive space on two levels plus an outdoor patio overlooking Union Station. They have rooms for private events, pool tables, lots of tvs. Tons of wood and iron. The floors are really well worn and show the age of the place.
I thought beers were of good quality and they had a pretty nice variety. Note I like to see some of the older styles still being offered, I mean who doesn't like a good amber or a blonde?
Service as fine and they were training a new server in our section, so we got plenty of attention.
I would have no issues making a return trip to this institution!

We were in Denver to watch a Hockey game and for a weekend get away. This historic brewpub was on my short list of places to visit. We dropped in on a Friday at about 4:30 pm. Located near the train station, walking distance from the arena, we enjoyed the location. The building is large and historic, with high ceilings and plenty of wood. The service as prompt and friendly. We enjoyed burgers, sandwiches, and an appetizer. The food was good, but isn't much more than typical sold pub fare. The beer list was well sized, and I started with a flight. I really enjoyed that they have an old-school amber ale on tap. Fresh, well-made, and tasty beer. Well worth the visit.

Visited on a Sunday night for some after-dinner beers.
The space is big and interesting, eclectic-ish, clearly older (tons of creaky wood). Lots of pool tables upstairs. Service was fine, not notably fast or slow, friendly or unfriendly.
Reasonable selection of their own beers, spanning a fairly good cross section of styles, but not a lot to offer for my wife who was looking for sours. She wasn't impressed with the Wynkoop kettle sour she tried and moved on to a guest tap. I had a lager and an IPA. Both were decent. My Vienna lager seemed unusual, almost a smokey characteristic, but wasn't bad.
Didn't try any food.

Awesome venue with a large selection of average quality beers. Service and food is fine, quality is adequate, but this is more about the building.

Several beers not available during our visit. Still decent selection. Nice variety and vegetarian friendly food options. Service fantastic.

A big, well-set-up brewery with a couple bars, a wide variety of beer styles and a nice upstairs area with tons of pool, billiards, darts, etc. The service was okay and the beer was solid,to-style examples with good variety. Excellent location and a great set-up.

My wife and I met a friend here for drinks, Just down the street from Coors Field, it is a nice laid-back place to visit. High-ceilinged with tin, wood floors, big bar, high-top tables. Very comfortable.
Over twenty beers on tap. I had the cask dark mild and the doppelbock, both excellent.
Service was good.
I expect when I visit Denver, I will visit Wynkoop.

This is essential Denver. A late 19th Century warehouse preserved right across from Union Station (which has had an unprecedented regeneration in the last five years.) Started in the late 20th Century, Wynkoop played an important role in fostering Denver's innovative and still rapidly growing craft beer culture. Its founder became Mayor and laid many of the plans for the City's incredible revival as a magnet for Millennials (who also like beer and cool cities.) That Mayor is now Governor... so maybe brewers make better leaders than lawyers. At any rate, a great center-of-the-action Vibe at Wynkoop
I'm told there is service on two floors, but I never got past the bar on the first floor. It was packed at lunch and almost as packed at dinner. Probably some twenty taps of their brews and hosted another five Coloradan breweries. I had a flight of three each time I went there. Servers seemed to enjoy their work and the bartender was very knowledgable. My sandwich I would not have again. The menu looked like standard pub-grub.
By now, there are better pubs than Wynkoop. But a lot like Anchor, you want to visit where the pioneers first started in that city.
