Tasted at the brewery during a Rockies game. Poured a dark red color.
Lightly hoppy aroma, mixed with sweet malts.
Taste was very well balanced and tasty. Mix of light hops and sweet malts.
Very sessionable beer, especially nice at a baseball game.

Pretty solid brew actually. After the Stout and Red I was a little concerned that the Sandlot might've been degrading a little bit...but this brew is terrific.
It's a nice dark red color with a shockingly hoppy smell. Who knew that Coors would make something hoppy?
Taste was a perfect match of smooth bitterness, sweetness, and malt.
I think the ABV is pretty low (which isn't necessarily bad, but I suspect all items at the park are 3.2%), but it's otherwise a great item.
If you're at Coors Field in 2005, skip the other Sandlot items and go for the ESB. It's a great one for a warm summer day at the park.

Pours a nice reddish amber, topped with a one finger tan head, leaves webs of lacing.
Floral aroma, nice malt backbone, toasty with plenty of hop resins.
Floral taste, a little bit of citrus as well, toast, light caramel, and some hop resins.
A pretty nice ESB, and a really good ballpark beer, maybe the best beer I've been able to drink at a ballpark.

The ESB had an amber / dark orange color with a reasonable head that lasted through the first quarter of the session. Aroma was pleasant, but not overly exciting. The ESB had a good flavor with a nice balance of malt and hops. Very lightly carbonated. There was a lingering malt aftertaste that quickly subsided followed by some dry bitterness on the back of the tongue. Very satisfying and this can be a nice session beer.
