On draft at the Holy Grale.
A. Cloudy and opaque with a light yellow color. Very frothy, egg shell, fine bubble head that slowly retreats, leaving cylindrical laces.
S. Mostly funk and bretty yeast. Maybe a little tequila but more power of persuasion. You will not be surprised it's a JP beer.
T. Very lightly sour, way more funky. Notes of bread, earthy tones, very yeasty. A slight hop bite. Not much from the barrel, more oak than tequila.
M. Full body, very earthy, high carb - but not a gusher.
O. Very nice. I love the JP yeast profile and this fits right in with the rest. Not at all sour, but the funky nature really fits this saison well. I think the lime/salt/tequila is very subtle which is likely a good thing. Very drinkable and goes well with a meal.
