Semi-hazy amber-copper with creamy arms of lace.
Smell is cherry and grape with toasted seeds and bit of a dark oak.
Taste is more sour than the other JP brews we had today, closer to my earlier impressions of JP, with flavors of cherry and raspberry gummies, toasted sesame seeds, char and a touch of cinnamon.
Soft yet crisp, this has a chewy dry finish.

A new beer on draft at Jolly Pumpkin Cafe and Brewery Ann Arbor. Pours a dark red/brown. Nose is tart and woodsy, as is the taste. Flavor is a burst of tart cherry and woodsiness. Very earthy and woodsy flavor with lots of tart sour cherry.
They should have named this beer Candide because Sarah said it is the best of all possible worlds.
