750 ml bottle, collab with Great Divide. ABV is 6.6%. At Cardinal, Stavanger. Hazy golden colour, moderate white head. Pleasant aroma of grapefruit, white wine, oak, brettanomyces, white wine vinegar and spicy saison yeast. Sour flavour, with the same elements as the aroma, also noticeable bittering hops.

Unfiltered yellow body with big foamy white head. Strong brett aroma. Very sour. Aroma of white grape. The taste is unique. The oak is strong and adds a nice woodiness to the beer. Taste of sour fruit, peach, lychee, white grape. Very tart but finishes clean and quickly. Very good.

collaboration with great divide, it has been way too long since i have had anything from these guys, the bottles are so expensive and the cans havent made it to idaho yet, but i had to pick this up when i saw it, i had the thirst that only jolly pumpkin could quench! this is a cool brew, a tart and funky saison base with a bigtime dry hop to it, citra and mosaic, seems basic, but its complex and awesome. i love the base beer for one, its so dry, funky, and just a little bit tart, the never get too sour and i appreciate the brett dominance in the ferment. the grain base seems light, pils and white wheat malts might be all, its brightly effervescent in the glass too, very mature and woody, but then the dry hopping makes it all botanical forward and fresh at the same time, hard to do. also, this is a hop combination that is old news in ipa types, but they are transformed with the wild yeasts in here, not the same old lemon and pineapple notes, this bursts with white grapefruit, green gooseberry, tart green apple, juniper, and lime leaf notes, really fruity and summery and fun, very boldly hopped too, and with some bitterness that is uncommon in the dry hopped funky stuff, i really like that element in the finish. the woodiness of this is impressive, long aged and sturdy, but also so active in the mouthfeel its the best of both worlds. really amazing fermentation profile here, thats why i bought this and it delivers, but i also like the hop intensity and new flavors i get from familiar varietals. this is expertly executed and highly recommended!
