Are you sure they weren't draft/taproom only?

Look at the most current BA reviews on those beers' pages you linked. The fact that none have 2021 reviews suggest that none of the beers are currently being brewed, ditto for the fact that they're not listed on the brewer's locator page.

I don't think they make any of those anymore...I could be wrong for some. Know for a fact, Dunkelweizen, Czech, and Dortmunder haven't been available for years.

No, most of the untappd reviews were at-home, bottled/canned.

Granted, most of the reviews were outside of Texas. Maybe they send excess product elsewhere after a certain time.

Are you saying that Spoetzl has their Texas distributors pull beer off the shelves and return it and then the brewer ships the beer out of state "after a certain time"? That'd be quite unusual (and, in some state, illegal) and ignores the fact that Spoetzl date codes their beers.

Why do you not think that these beers simply are not currently being brewed?

Why not check with the brewery

Considering the sparseness of checkins for the couple beers I looked at, I'd think it much more likely these are beers that have been languishing on some beer stores shelf, or kicking around someone's house, for years and are just now getting opened.

    Shiner 101 Czech Style Pilsner
    Shiner Dortmunder (Spring Ale)
    Shiner Dunkelweizen
    Shiner Fröst
    Shiner Kosmos Reserve
    Shiner Prickly Pear
All of the above are Seasonals or one offs. They made Frost and Kosmos a few years ago, so they will probably come out again in the near future. Prickly Pear is a Spring/Summer beer, so it should be coming out in the next few months. As for the 101, Dormunder and Dunkelweizen I have not seen these in a while, the Dunkelweizen & 101 have recent reviews (as of 3/4 years ago) so maybe they will come back out. So in the above list, the only one you will probably see in the next year is Prickly Pear, the others are well a crap shoot depending on the Brewery
