Just watched an episode of brewdogs where they made the most expensive beer in the world. They made what they called a stout but used no dark malts, they did add coffe and coco nibs , and the people that tasted it said its appearence was nothing like the taste, so is there any legitimate examples of a "blonde" stout, or a beer that taste and feels like a stout with the apperence of a pilsner?

Nightshift had Snow which was a pale stout. It was decent. Not a stout at all, but interesting.

White stouts kind of remind me of Clayton Bigsby. Someone should brew a white stout called Clayton Bigsby.

Depending on where you seek your definition. If you look at the BJCP guidelines, it mentions flavors and characteristics imparted by dark malt however at no point does it mention a requirement for ingredients. A Blonde Stout certainly would not meet the appearance requirements of the style, but then again neither does the Black IPA.

Call it creative license. I am not a purist in terms of strict adherence to style guideline, I prefer to view styles as descriptors used to describe the beer. If the flavors presented resembles that of a stout, I do not have a problem calling a beer a stout even if it is blonde in color. If you attach the prefix blonde to stout, I think that should provide you a reasonable expectation as to the experience to come.

Had it recently. Pretty good. Just the mouth feel isn't nearly viscous enough for me.
My friend had me taste it without looking and I said it is too thin.

Its not a stout, but Theobroma does taste like a spicy stout to me. Close my eyes and taste chocolate and chili

While not quite a blond stout, I recently had an espresso DIPA. It was a Mikkeller collaboration called sleep over. Just one of those beers who's flavor doesn't quite line up with what you expect from the appearance.

Had a golden stout at Stone Liberty Station few weeks ago, blew my mind. Looked nothing like what it smelled and tasted like.
