Fire Away! - Jesse Cofounder / Brewmaster at Almanac Beer
Is Don't Call It Frisco going to be more or less the same as last year? That beer was surprisingly excellent.
We've made a few tweaks to it (simplify the malt bill a bit, futz with hop schedule) but the basic idea remains the same. We also have much better hop availability now, so it's while it's citra heavy, it also get mosaic and azacca to round out the dry hop. We will also be releasing "Summer in San Francisco" a session IPA brewed with orange peel and tangerines, dry hopped like a double IPA.
sorry to derail the thread a bit, but do you plan to ever open a taproom? the south bay/peninsula needs a good one!
