Banner ads are back for logged in users

    On September 10, 2019, we turned off banner ads for all logged in users. We were having too many issues with malicious and reckless programmatic banner ads, but improvements have been made and our ad partner has assured us that they've also made a lot of progress in handling bad players in the space.

    So, as of this post, logged in users will begin to see some banner ad placements (not as many as you'd see if you weren't logged in). Most will be programmatic, but over time you should hopefully see more beer-centric ads.

    Members of our Respect Beer Society (who are logged in) will never see banner ads (it's one of the perks).

    Not sure if this is the right thread but I’ve run into a couple of “scroll past” mobile ads that cut off parts of beer reviews. In the screenshot I can only see the last line of the review no matter how much scrolling I do.
