Was Timothy Taylor really distributed to the U.S. at one point? Damn ... what a better time if so! I've only tried their Golden Best, but it's among the best cask ales I've had.

In this same vein, the English pales we used to get here in Texas top my list of beers I miss. Some don't exist anywhere anymore and others have changed names like Samuel Smith's Old Brewery Pale Ale (now called Old Brewery Bitter), but almost all of them don't make it across the pond. I'm assuming it's a casualty of our craft beer movement, and if so, that's A-OK with me. I wouldn't trade the American beer scene, flaws included, for a few imports. But I'd still pay double for a sixer of Young's Special London Ale or Ram Rod. I do miss those.

The Schlitz we get here in Texas these days is pretty good for an AAL. I've no idea how it compares to the Schlitz my dad loved back in the late 1970s/early 1980s, but you can't beat it for the price, which I swear is around $8.99 a 12-pack.

Those beers in more niche styles that you happen to love:
Black Ale: Don't like most, but loved Firestone Walker's Wookey Jack

Same goes for Coffee IPA: Loved Oskar Blues - Hot Box Coffee IPA

I also really really miss Firestone's Double DBA - they can take thier Helldorado back!

With Wookie goes Sublimely Self Righteous, I don’t like the style for the most part but these two beers were just incredible when they were fresh. The Double DBA was also a great beer, and they killed Double Jack, wonder if they fired their entire marketing dept.

While Natty Boh and Carling Black Label were the big brews around my area growing up, I do remember enjoying and ice cold Schlitz from time to time.

Agreed! Unfortunately never tried the Self Righteous.

So many of my early Stone IPAs showed their octane more than I preferred so I probably missed out on some of their real gems.
They did an awesome collab for a Green Tea IPA years back that I will never fail to recall. As hippie-vegan as that thing sounded, it was really well thought out and fantastic.

I live in Missouri and my wife has ordered me beers online from Great Lakes a couple of times. Check out France 44 online and see what you can get

Grand Teton Moose Juice comes to mind. They got sued by Moosehead and instead of renaming the beer, they stopped brewing it.

Came here to say the same. Such a love, hate beer. Pain in the ass to open/pour but so frickin unique. I miss some of the others mentioned in this thread but none come close to Rayon.

That time is now. As far as I know, Landlord is still being imported by the Shelton Brothers. See if you can order a case from a place that carries Shelton stuff. The problem is that it's not dated. That's one of those beers I never feel like rolling the dice on. Boltmaker was even brought over here for a few seconds.
