Feel guilty about the number of times I passed by Firestone Walker Double Jack. I remember when that what was a hard to get beer in PA.

Also would like to see DFH brew My Antonia Imperial Pilsner again. What a great beer.

That one may be back. I'm pretty sure that I saw it recently checked in on Untappd, but the only info that I can find is an article in this newsletter, and it isn't very informative:

If it is true, 'what goes around, comes around' since Dominion was also in Ashburn, VA when they brewed Hop Pocket, and supposedly now brewed by Dynasty Brewing:

Espresso RIS was phenomenal. I had high hopes for the Totalitarian version that dropped earlier this year but sadly, it wasn’t on the same level.

Same! That was maybe my favorite example of that style, and now it's gone...

Never tried Wookey Jack, I would have liked it.

As I started making a mental list of beers I miss I realized that most of them were Black Ales; Weez from Maine Beer Co, Lagunitas' Night Time, Dark Penance from Founders(haven't seen it in years) and fresh Back in Black.

I wish the style would return in a less hop forward version.
Black Ales do not have to be a based on IPAs yet most of them are. High bitterness from hops and roasted malts combined contributed to the decline of the style.

Coors. I miss the time when you had to go out west to get it. I miss having to go to two or three different grocery stores for enough to load up the trunk and the camper until the trailer hitch was dragging the pavement. I miss having to unload it, carry it up two flights of stairs, and stack it in the motel room to keep it from freezing on a sub-zero night in South Dakota. And I miss not giving a rat's ass that I could buy MUCH better swill at the convenience store two hundred yards up the street from my house. Good times, good times...

I’m throwing in with the Pete’s Wicked Ale crew.
Drank a lot of it in the 90’s, even won some swag from a contest they had that named a prize on the flip side of the bottle cap. Anyone remember that?
I’m not sure what my palate would think of it these days but I sure would like to find out.

Victory Hop Wallop. I believe this was my first foray into Double IPAs. Mindblowing at the time.

And yeah, the old Stone stuff. Original Ruination/Pale Ale/Levitation/Sublimely. That sounds like a good idea for a "classic" mix 12-pack.
