Ok Mountain forum, we just booked our Vegas trip for January. Where's the good stuff on/near the strip? We're staying at Monte Carlo for reference. Thanks for any advice. Cheers!

Looks like The Pub at Monte Carlo is a good spot. How about bottle shops?

Bottle shops on the strip? You must be dreaming. It doesn't look like you're going to get a lot of help here either.

Go to 'places' on the top of the site. When you get to the link, it's self explanatory. You'll be able to find stores, bars & breweries all in one place.

From Monte Carlo you can head to the Aria/Crystals for Todd English P.U.B. Pub at Monte Carlo has some good stuff but not always fresh.

Further up the Strip, Yardhouse at the Linq (a chain but good) and Public House in the Venetian.

Going the other direction, Burger Bar at Mandalay Bay. Even further, Whole Foods and another Yardhouse.

If you can get off the strip both Aces & Ales locations are worth the trip. A&A Tenaya is 1/4 mile from Tenaya Creek Brewery.

Lagunitas IPA is generally available throughout the Strip.

Walgreens in the middle of the Strip has some good craft to go.

None of it is cheap but none of the good stuff in Vegas is.
