    Hi fellow BAs-

I'm trying to set a lineup for a maple stout/porter tasting and could use some suggestions!

    So far I was thinking:

    Canadian Breakfast Stout
    Treehouse Good Morning
    HF Beyond Good and Evil
    SP Derivation blend 1
    Sierra Nevada Maple Stout
    Lawson's BA Maple Fayston Stout
Jackie O's bourbon barrel black maple
    Funky Buddha MBCP
GI Proprietor's 2015 (would have to wait till November obviously)

Thoughts on the above and any recommended additions?

    Thanks for your input!

Southern Tier Grand Arbor is somewhere between Saison and Barleywine, but dud use maple syrup.

Tree House Good Morning is ridiculously good. No. 1 on my list.

Toppling Goliath Mornin' Delight and KBBS are absent, but probably for good reason due to their availability.

    Transient Buckley and Bark Lord.

Funky Buddha also has Wide Awake, It's Morning and Morning Wood. (Not sure if these are tap-only.)

Odd Side Hipster Brunch needs a mention as well.

Had a small glass of year-old Lawsons Maple Tripel at a friend's wedding. So dense and rich, like drinking straight syrup. with almost no carbonation and replacing the sugary burn with a boozy one. Maybe not a stout/porter, but kinda felt like one.

Omnipollo recently released Agamemnon. You still might be able to find a bottle.

I have a bottle of this that I haven't opened yet, but it seems to have pretty good ratings on BA: http://www.beeradvocate.com/beer/profile/10796/167940/

Other than that, I'd recommend Jackie O's Bourbon Barrel Black Maple and Founders CBS that you already have on your list.

The big one missing that's on the @Beersnake1 link is Pugachev's (plus the adjuncts).
As long as you're putting beers that are not bottled on the list (good morning), the Kane Brunches - Sunday and Mexican - are supposed to be ridiculous.

Have to add Rockingham Brewing's Maple Beast as close as you can come to MBCP from Funky Budha but just think of it on steroids. And I'll go along with the 14th Star.

Perrin's No Rules Porter is outstanding. It's not maple, but the turbinado sugar really gives you the maple syrup effect. That is what maple syrup is after all, caramelized maple sap (sugar). A lot of people say they taste maple but its that tasty turbinado.
