Had a great time and really enjoyed the beer! Hoping that you will record session #2 also and post to the private forum (we have snow coming tonight so I can't drink and be up late because I'll have to work). Round #2 will have to wait for me!

Todd, by chance is there an opportunity to purchase more of any of the beers from the fest? I am especially interested in more of The World's Turned Upside Down. Thank you. Looking forward to night two. Cheers.

Those barley wines were intense! I feel it today. I'm wondering how I'm going to handle SIX tastings tonight! My daughter reminds me that I'm supposed to "taste", not drink, but I'm not sure I can do that; what am I going to do with the rest of the beer? Throw it out? No. I have promises from my wife and daughter to help me with tonight's "tastings" so maybe tomorrow will be a brighter day than today.

This is AWESOME, Todd. Our son came to town to visit for a week (he's still in Minnesota), and his Mom (otherwise known as Mrs O) made it perfectly clear that we were NOT going to sit on a livestream for 3+ hours pounding beers on her baby's first night in town after not seeing him for 6 months.

So we reconnoitered and watched Mrs O get slightly jackhammered drinking wine (as she gets ..... more lubricated, the pitch of her voice gets higher and higher - by the end of the evening, only our dog Ranger could hear her) whilst we dug into the excellent Hazy-O! from @SamCalagione (it will be added to my beer fridge rotation when it becomes available through distro here in Indiana). Other Half's fantastic lACED (when we popped the can, Little O said, "Oh yeah, Citra" - he had Zombie Dust before he had Bud, so he's got THAT going for him), then I enjoyed the world-class (IMHO) Upside Down barleywine from Carton - letting that beer warm for 30 minutes before opening it was critical, because it really opened up. Just wow.

Thanks again for hosting this magnificent event and pulling together these phenomenal beers. We're gonna try to work through all the Day 2 beers today, then work Super Delicious from Short's and Double Maple Pusher from Great Notion into our Super Bowl rotation tomorrow, with either Dark Lord as the closer, or precede those beers with a couple of lagers/pilsners. Gotta noodle on that a bit.

I really enjoyed last night. Lots of good discussion with the faces behind the beers. That barleywine from Carton was incredible! Looking forward to tonight, and whatever I don't crack will get enjoyed during the Superbowl. Wins all around.

So, what's the odds Sam misplaces any beers tonight? All kidding aside, he makes the discussions tons of good stuff. Having met him once before, that's *exactly* his personality every day of the week.

Last night was SO FUN! Laughed a LOT.

Looking forward to tonight, but I think I've come to the tragic conclusion that a couple of tonight's beers are going to become Super Bowl Watching beers tomorrow. I did last night's tasting with my wife, but she only wanted 2 ounces per beer - leaving me with the rest (Yay, right?!).

Except, I really felt it this morning (I guess I can't partake like I did in my 30's & 40's). Getting old sucks, but it sure as hell beats the alternative...

Thanks for putting this on. I would TOTALLY do something like this again in the future.

My girlfriend and I are doing Session one right now! Trying to get it done before session 2 at 5! I had work last night until 7, and didn't get home until 8 pm so we decided to do it all today! We made these flights for the fest!

Last night was great! I’m the only drinker in the house so some of these beers will be consumed in the future, I have a friend that when we get together we share different beers so the barley wines will be consumed with him.

I would totally do this again, big thanks to Todd and Sam for putting this together and Halftime for getting the beers out.

will there be another Zoom tonight? I missed last night and am hoping I can get in on it tonight.

I really like the virtual format, after I realized it was recorded I backed off trying all of the beers yesterday and decided to have a week-long beer fest instead with 1-2 brewer panels a day.

So I thought it was Saturday and Sunday, so I missed yesterday's session. so I'll do session 2 today and session 1 tomorrow I guess. Thanks for recording these sessions!
Looking forward to getting back to Milton and Rehoboth this year Sam!

My girlfriend and I did session 1 today before session 2, do not suggest lots of alcohol will be consumed today.

I think my main suggestion would be to try to go for extreme but also session beers if they have to come in cans or bottles, especially a larger than 12oz size of either. My partner absolutely hated the Carton beer. I liked it, but there was no way I could drink an entire 12% can of it along with any other stuff (which is why it was kind of funny that Augie said he realized it and then made that beer), so I ended up pouring about half of it out (which I am personally offended by, but I didn't have a better idea).

Maybe if this virtual thing ever catches on longer term (obviously in addition to in-person fests), 8 oz cans, or even some form of 2oz tater can or device could be created. If there were any way to save the rest of the can for later, that would have been fine.

I'll add to previous sentiment; last night was very cool, I would absolutely participate in a future virtual fest (in fact post-covid a direct to consumer fest is probably a good idea to pair with an in person event). And, I'll likely have a few of these with the game tomorrow.

I was able to share quite a few of these with friends (never underestimate a tasting glass and plastic wrap). I can only speak for myself on this; Half-Time executed flawlessly, and this was worth every dollar.

    Cheers!

Virtual extreme beer fest was awesome. The best part was the brewers conversations. It would be great to have both since the in person events allow you to try more brews. I was fascinated by the conversations and I am looking forward to visiting some of these breweries. We would have never found out about the Keg park.

Loved session one. Enjoyed all of the beers although the Great Notion was a bit sweet for my taste to end the night on. The highlight for me and my wife was the Carton barley wine - I’m a big fan of tawny port and this hit the spot. Started the session two beers early as squeezing 6 into 3 hours seemed tough going. Love the two sours that kick off today’s session!
