Good evening NBS'ers, for this Sunday night, I have:

    On Fleek Imperial Stout
    Stillwater/Casita Cerveceria

This one pours motor oil black with a nice tan head that disappears as it warms, it's actually a very nice looking beer. The smell notes are espresso roast with chocolate, licorice and raisin.
The first sip; Rich, roasty and smokey, there's that coffee with chocolate and for sure something more along the lines of the fig coming out as it sits for a bit. Finishes with a mid size amount of the dry roast. You do get some of that 13% ABV booze through out but one would think it's more of a 10% ABV.
Overall, I really like this beer. It comes in a very colorful can and I got the last one, but for sure I will be buying this again. I would say if you like Ten Fidy, you will enjoy this one.

    Cheers!

    Well Hello NBS!!!
I'm greeting you, one and all, from the glorious eastern Sierra Nevadas. I haven'y had time to read all of your musings, but I shall. Just let it be known that I found a wonderful American barleywine
https://www.beeradvocate.com/beer/profile/39490/218029/ , and a solid DIPA https://www.beeradvocate.com/beer/profile/39490/218029/ in Bishop CA, by Mountain Rambler Brewing. I haven't had the time to review yet. Got the notes, but just finished s'mores with the kids, and bedding down.

    Wishing All Well.

I'm starting the Biere de Garde detour in my saison thread.

I couldn't wait to try this Gavroche once I got in tonight.
