Quick Citi Field question

There's one specific stand that sells 16oz cans of the beers you listed above. I want to say it's on the field level, really hard to miss if you do a lap. It's on the smaller size - not the giant Big Apple Brews stand near the Shake Shack. That one is all macro I think.

There's also tons of LIC taps at various food vendors around the stadium, and the bar on the top level, but not a single employee knew what beer it was and they just had the generic LIC handles.

I think vendors walk around with Mikkeller too, but only Henry Hops and Say Hey Sally.

 

There's a small stand is behind Section 134. It is also a Big Apple Brews (as is the one by Shake Shack), but it's much smaller and tucked into a corner. When I was there two weeks ago, they had cans of Interboro Premiere; LIC Higher Burnin'; Mikkeller Subway Mosaic, Say Hey Sally, Henry Hops; Coney Island Mermaid Pilsner; and the Bud crafty stuff (Blue Point Delayed Pils, Goose Next Coast, etc).

As stated before, the stand (Empire City Brews IIRC) is located at Sec 134 right at the corner of left field. There is a “Big Mozz” or something stand right next to it.

Additionally, I strongly recommend grabbing the salt and vinegar fries from the stand next to the beer stand (it’s called Bash Burgers or something similar). They are not traditional fries. They are 1000 times better.

 

Be aware - the fries make you drink your beer at a rapid pace. They are absolutely worth it.

 

The stand next to big mozz had interboro, five boroughs, LIC and Mikeller the last 3 times I went this year (most recently 2 weeks ago).

 

Also the Hornitos Bar in the 300 sections has big cans of SN Lil Hazy, Lagunitas Lil Sumpin and some decent draft for a ballpark.

I’ve spent enough time at Citi to have sniffed out the beer spots

 

I joke with my Yankee fan friends how we at least have better beer, food and broadcasters. LGM!

 

I'm a Yankee fan, but you're 100% right. The stadium itself is also so much nicer.

 

I'll happily drink a Bud Lite at Citi Field if we can have some stress free games like the last couple. The stand near section 130 is really only necessary in tight games where we have to rely on the bullpen.

 

Here now and the cooler with the LIC Higher Burnin is locked. Brutal.

 

Yea that was not what I was hoping for last night either. Went to the Blue Point stand and got Lil Hazy from SN. Good consolation prize.
