I've been known to sprinkle a little salt over an IPA from time to time. Gotten some funny looks for it but whatever!

Tecate and sal con limon lip on the glass with a big plate of enchiladas, rice and beans? Why not!

I used to get micheladas in Mexico all the time. Frosty mug, salted rim, ice cubes, 1/4 cup lime juice, Dos Equis lager. You could drink that with dinner, sitting on the beach, or mowing the yard. So good.

Bud Lime and their ilk were not the same, and can suck it.

If a beer is too too bitter, sprinkle some salt in it. The salt blocks the tongue's bitter receptors and makes the beer palatable. Works for coffee as well.
