For those of us living in the NW, I'm sure the Old St. Francis school McM is no big deal. However, for anyone new to the NW, or who is unfamiliar with the McM empire, I think it's worth a visit while in town (and hence, inclusion on the "others" list).

Also... your call on this, but I was favorably impressed with the "wine shop and beer tasting bar" over on NW Minnesota Ave. Prices were a bit high, but given the location (downtown, tourist central in Bend), I didn't think they were outrageous. The tap list there was impressive; I think they had around 20 or so different beers on tap, with an unusually solid selection of Belgian offerings (which I thought somewhat unusual, and welcome, for Bend). The cheese and meat plate we got was quite good.

Just my two cents... Bend is a great place to visit, and is now pretty much part of the regular (local) rotation for the GF and I.

Sunriver is going to be canning Vicious Mosquito soon. That's a killer IPA.

Heading down April 6th for a few days before heading to Corvallis, Pacific City and Tillamook. Yay Spring Break.

Good to know. The tectonic triple IPA was virtually a drain pour, but the resin was pretty good I thought. The Bier Stein has the Mosquito on tap periodically, but after the Tetonic, I've shied away from it.

I was planning to update sometime before summer came along, but no big changes. I think the only thing that's changed is the opening of our first Belgian themed brewery, Monkless, but without a tasting room and only available at Humm Kombucha's tasting room, I wasn't planning to add them yet. MofC will be opening a store here, Brew Werks will rise from the ashes as Craft Kitchen, and a brewpub/ u-brew place is set to open, but those are all kernels waiting to pop, nothing much to report yet.

Give the Vicious Mosquito a shot. Didn't have Tectonic, but if we can agree ResinNation was decent I think we'll agree the Mosquito is too. Having had the SUP Summer Ale recently, I'd say that's worth your time too; Summer Ales aren't usually my thing, but SUP has enough going on to recommend it (if that style does anything for you).

It's pretty easy to find Pallet Jack around town, and the rest of their beers pop up too, if a little less frequently.

@Commanche if you're looking for Barley Browns and other draft only breweries, don't forget that Oregon will fill any growler. If you have a ton of different growlers from different breweries (and you're driving vs. flying), bring 'em up.

How are the Rat Hole beers? Seems like a nice set up from the Facebook pics.

Phat Matts is closed, and Shade Tree relocated to South Bend. But a brewery from Niko of Nikobrew is set to open this year.

I was not very impressed with them at opening, but need to check them out again after hearing Natalie from Smith Rock recently started brewing for Rat Hole.

Two others in Bend Oblivion and Riverbend...by the few ratings they seem to be justvstarting off and the beers are not top grade yet?
