While some of the purists here may doubt it’s an actual beer, I’ve found that Jock Juice (Good Ball Movement) is probably the weirdest beer I’ve actually liked. https://www.beeradvocate.com/beer/profile/55168/544416/ Can you imagine old school original Gatorade being a sour beer? Do you even want to? But oddly, it worked for me. Does anyone want to share a weird beer they like?
I would have to go with this Sapwood Cellars offering... https://www.beeradvocate.com/beer/profile/51460/676049/ Spot on to some Apple Pie à la mode in a glass with chunky apple bits and all
Shorts Brewing here in Michigan brews a beer called Melt My Brain. It's a gin and tonic knock-off that's a real thirst quencher in the summer. https://www.beeradvocate.com/beer/profile/9629/170772/
Old School West Coast IPAs Either that or Non-Barrel Aged, Non-spiced American Barleywines Both pretty weird these days.
Hornswoggler from the Veil. The ones that had candy bar and cookie crumbles in the can. If you're going to do something zany, go all the way. They did.
Yes. Although I'm sure it's not weird to many but I liked it on tap and I'd have it again. The flavors were really nice and there was good yeast in the finish which I failed to add to my review. Will do! Drekker Slang Du Jour Raspberry Cheesecake Fruited Kettle Sour 4.13/5 rDev -4% look: 4 | smell: 4 | taste: 4.25 | feel: 4.25 | overall: 4 10oz snifter on tap. L: Murky milky light purple, no head, no visible carbo, no lacing. S: Vinous stemmy berries, vanilla, cheesecake. T: Raspberry, vanilla, graham cracker, cheesecake/cream cheese. It is lightly sharp & tart. Berries linger and stick to palate. No taste of alcohol. F: Thick, creamy lactose heavy feel w a med-length finish but has a long linger. O: Liquid dessert here. Excellent flavors and well constructed feel and balance. Not puckering sour as it's focus is raspberry tartness. An outstanding Fruited Kettle Sour. Oct 29, 2022
Cave Creek’s Chili Beer There was a pepper in the beer, which should have been a clue. Really just tasted like pepper juice. Really bad…
For me it is Odd Side's Sweet Potato Souffle Rye Ale https://www.beeradvocate.com/beer/profile/22564/244796/
I think it is weird just because it is a smoked beer Smoked beers are not my thing, but each their own.
For me, it's got to be Abomination Brewing's Toxic Earth, a matcha brew that looks like algae overgrowth but got me using matcha in my chex mix variant(s).
