Unbeknownst to many, BeerAdvocate hosts beer festivals. In fact, we’ve hosted over 50 of them since 2003 and put well over $2 million back into the industry via our policy of paying for the beer served. We also take pride in the fact that our fests aren’t just a great opportunity to try new beers, they also offer attendees a chance to meet their favorite brewers and fellow beer advocates. So with that said, here are some events to put on your calendar.

BeerAdvocate Microbrew Invitational
June 3–4, 2016 in Boston | A new concept for the new year. This celebration of old-school, small-batch brewing will feature over 70 micro brewers that brew less than 15,000 barrels a year. Brewers are also challenged to bring a beer to debut at the fest.

Return of the Belgian Beer Fest
September 17, 2016 in Portland, Maine | We’re bringing back one of our favorites and we’re delighted to be sponsored by Allagash Brewing Company again. This one-day, two-session event will be held at 58 Fore Street with hundreds of authentic Belgian beers and Belgian-inspired offerings.

Mass Beer Week
November 4–13, 2016 in Massachusetts | Unlike other beer weeks, MBW will focus exclusively on Massachusetts brewers, their beers and the supporting beer community.

Extreme Beer Fest
February 3–4, 2017 in Boston | Sponsored by our friends at Dogfish Head, the 14th annual Extreme Beer Fest returns to celebrate brewers who push the boundaries of brewing. Because it’s never too early to prepare for epicness.
