Dos Gatos has been crafting cocktails with love and attention for almost five years. Recognized as a “Top 10 Bar in Florida” by The Guardian, as well as a “Top 100 Bar of the South” by Southern Living, Dos Gatos, or “Dos,” as it’s affectionately called, also carries a strong microbrew and local beer list. In The Breckenridge, the IPA adds hints of grapefruit and bitterness to this refreshing, crisp beer cocktail.

fresh basil
1 oz New Amsterdam Gin
0.5 oz Aperol
0.5 simple syrup
splash Ruby Red grapefruit juice
1 dash grapefruit bitters
Intuition Ale Works I-10 IPA

In a mixing glass, press (but don’t kill) the basil. Add all ingredients except the IPA. Shake and strain into a beer glass, while marrying in the IPA. Garnish with a basil leaf, and a slice of lemon or grapefruit. If you can’t get Intuition in your market yet, we like Dogfish Head 60 Minute IPA as a substitute.
