can - pours a slightly hazy light gold with a 2 finger white rocky cap....aromas of boiled grains, wet straw, earthiness and sulphury lager yeast funk....crisp and peppery ( from carbonation) on the palate, well balanced and lightly dry....flavor is balanced between malts and hops in front light citrus tones, finish goes lightly bitter and dry with just a hint of sweetness...a decent north American helles, very drinkable but I wish it was more sturdy/satisfying

Pours clear gold with an explosion of frenetic carbonation bubbles. Compact, frothy head with excellent retention. Bready malts, spices, citrus hops in the nose. Lots of freshly malted barley, cookie dough, arrow root malt flavors mix with herbal, sea air and lemony hops in the taste. It's akin to a citrus Pilsner. Light body with high carbonation. Medium bitterness in the dry but malty finish.
A really nice, straightforward lager. Lots of malt complexity and great balance. Worth a try.

473 mL can from the LCBO; dated Mar 15 2021 and served slightly chilled.
Pours a clear, pale yellow colour, topped with nearly one finger of soapy white head that wilts within a couple minutes; a fair bit of wavy lacing is splashed about in the process, which also leaves behind a creamy collar and a few patches of film on the surface. Looks good, but pretty plain on the nose - there's some graininess, with subtle hints of bread, lemon, and floral, earthy hops. It works for the style.
Grainy pale malts and cereal sweetness are the name of the game here, but it does conclude with a proper noble hop kick. Hints of bread and citrus peel also come through, with a grassy, floral, weakly earthy finish that quickly fades to off-dry. Thin in body, with moderate carbonation levels that provide a little bit of a bite, giving this lager a fairly crisp feel on the tongue. Effortlessly easy to toss back, and quite refreshing to do so.
Final Grade: 3.72, a passable B grade. I wasn't especially impressed with Worlds Away Craft Lager, particularly at first... but for what it is, I suppose there's nothing inherently wrong with it. It's an unobjectionable, reasonably well-brewed lager - not exactly what this brewery is known for, but that doesn't make it a bad beer. The thing that bugs me most about this beer might actually be its name. What exactly is it "worlds away" from? Other craft lagers? Not a chance - this one could blend in with that crowd just fine, and it wouldn't even require a haircut or a fake mustache.

473 ml can served cold into a pint glass.
Appearance - Brilliant clear pale golden color, a finger of quick receding head. Spotty lacing and alack of bubbles in the beer.
Smell - Light grain aromas, some bready notes, not much else. Typical lager fare.
Taste - Very bready and grainy, not delicate with flavor profile.
Mouthfeel - Medium-light bodied, lots of carbonation easy drinking but a bit chalky in afteratse.
Overall - Passable crackery and bready lager, but a miss for me otherwise.
