On tap at the Anniversary party, not my favorite of their DIPA but a nice beer none-the-less. Beer is amber with a slight haze, nice one finger white head, lots of lacing, high retention, nice carbonation.
Aroma is grassy / earthy with a nice mild graininess / sweetness.
Beer is medium in body and sweet overall, with a mild to moderate bitterness on the back end, a little earthy / citrus flavors in the front half, overall the character isn't quite as hoppy as I hoped but I"d have it again.

On draft at Franklin's 10th Anniversary Party. A German DIPA with Hallertau and Tettnang hops.
Pours a clear light copper with a cream, bubbly head that fades quickly to a thin collar and dry cascading sheets of lace.
Noble hop aroma of soft malt, biscuit and bready with a floral and earthy hop finish.
Mildly sweet flavor, balanced blend of bready malt and floral hops. German pale in body and American IPA in finish. Reminds me of McKenzie's German APA and Stoudt's Gemuckleheidt.
Medium thick body with soft carbonation and a dry, floral finish.
Not quite as good as some other Franklin DIPAs but interesting and enjoyable.
