Picked this up at Goebbels in Wichita, lets See what we have:

Pours an effervescent amber with 2 fingers of pearl white head. Great lacing & head retention as it goes in my sink

S: Faint cereal notes, cornyness

T: Metallic hops, cereal, grainyness & astringent grain, don't like where this is headed. Tastes like this beer is on the cusp of infected or was malt extract product. Stuff like this probably keeps a lot of folks loyal to AB

MF: Thinnish, prickly & not great

Drinks horrible, my 1st drainpour review, bleh. Not sure if this old or what; weak! Maybe I'd try this closer to the source, but Christ; I purchased it one state over! Try at your own risk

From O'Malley's Pack-O-Craic six pack. Drinkers get to vote on which of the three beers in the pack becomes O'Malley's next permanent release.

12 oz bottle poured into a Sam Adams pint glass. Very thin head that leaves a soapy film on the surface. Color is a clear honey amber. Well carbonated.

Smell has a caramel malt sweetness. I bit of orange peel as well. Taste is strangely tannic, with some heavier orange peel flavors.

Mouthfeel is pretty thin, but does go down pretty smoothly. This would make a pretty good session beer for a night at O'Malley's on Weston, MO.

A - Poured out an orange/gold color with a two-finger, smooth, foamy, tan head. It left no lace.

S - It smelled grassy, fruity and of some wheat.

T - It was sweet and fruity with some spiciness. It did not taste like an ESB. It also had an odd bitterness.

M - It was relatively crisp and smooth. A light-bodied beer.

D - This was odd. It tasted nothing like an ESB, more like a fruity APA.

Appearance: It had a deep brass color with a good creamy head. The lacing was about average

Smell: The aroma has a lot of malt characteristics with some sweet citrus.

Taste: Sweet orange and spicy. Sort of like some type of odd cookie. There is herbal bitterness to the flavor as well but that is mainly in the finish.

Mouthfeel: It is very light and thin.

Overall: It was better than some of the other offerings I have had from this brewery. I would almost say average down the board except the appearance and mouthfeel.

Bought a 6 pack o'craic at the local liquor store which contained 2 Lagers, 2 Brown ales, and 2 ISBs.

Poured into a Guinness imperial pint glass. Small head maybe one finger, left no lacing, and short lived head...behaved like a true British style bitter. Not overly carbonated. Nice coppery color.

Malty smell with a hint of hops and tastes the same - well balanced. Not overpowering like so many US made ESBs. Light feel, very drinkable.

I wish I could get a 6 pack of this stuff. It's a great session beer, and the US market is lacking a good, basic bitter.

This is my first review on here, and I'm not sure why this beer prompted me to do one. Anyway I poured the beer from the bottle into a 8 oz straight sided sample glass. Thick rocky head, hazy honey-colored appearance. Definitely picking up the orange peel aroma and a bit of something like anise. The peel is strong in the flavor as well. There is little malt flavor here and the mouthfeel is a little thin, but not to bad. I could drink a few of these, but won't buy it again. Would like to try it on tap. I am not real familiar with the style, but I do like ESB's. I don't know if there is a difference, but I prefer ESB's to this.

Poured a 12oz bottle into a Chimay Chalice. Poured a dark amber almost red with a thin off white head that dissipated into a thin oily film on the beer. Aroma was slightly citrus with a sweet brown sugar after smell. Taste was like sucking on an orange peel. Not chewing it, there really is no citrus taste but just the taste of the peel. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with a good carbonation. If it wasn't for the odd taste, this could be a drinkable beer.
