Dwayne, the owner of Bridge & Tunnel Bottleshop & Taproom, is the man to go to for unique, rare and delicious bottles, cans and pints. We can’t imagine Duane Street without him.

We first brewed Dwaynes World to help celebrate our favorite Duane Street neighbor, Dwayne’s, 5th anniversary in 2023, and we brewed it AGAIN to ring in year seven. The hops and hop oils in Dwayne’s World were carefully selected to replicate the fruity, dank qualities of premium kush.

Party on, Dwayne.

16 ounce can with a smudge date
Pours a tarnished gold color. Abundant fluffy with great retention. Clumpy lacing.
Starts out with a tropical dominance in the nose, then makes way for some citrus along the lines of grapefruit and Keylime zest, and a hint of weed.
Flavor starts again with a tropical. Picking up hints of pineapple, a bit of guava, and some grass. Then some pity grapefruit rind. Then a nice herbal note that goes in a pine meets weed resin direction. A nice undercurrent of grainy malt as well.
Mouth feel is just shy of medium in half, good carbonation keeps things alive, and finishes with a mild bitterness.

16oz can served in a curvy Fremont glass. Can is dated 02/??/??. Bought it an hour ago at Chuck's Hop Shop.

Pours clear orange-gold, slight hazy lean. Biggish fluffy head, settles to chunky ring and floating islands. Smell is tropical and citrus, a little on the dank and earthy side.

Taste is on the west coast bitter side for sure -- pine and lemon rind and grapefruit. A little honeysuckle and vague floral sweetness.

Mouthfeel is light, clean, dry. Overall, very nice WCIPA.

Poured into a Seattle Beer Week pint glass. Pours a light to medium golden amber with a fine, two finger white head with great retention and solid lacing. Aroma of lightly caramel malt, citrus and dank hops, light stone fruit, lemon, catty dankness. Flavor is light caramel malt, grapefruit, catty and herbal dankness, vague light stone and tropical fruit. Pine resin rushes in at the finish and lingers. Modest, but adequate bitterness; a rather soft feel. Medium bodied with moderate creaminess; nice mouth feel. I was hoping for more of the herbal dankness in the description, but the more catty dank is fairly evident. Light fruit flavors add a little interest. Starts dank, but has the surprising burst of pine in the end, which is welcome. Oddly, this tastes somewhat like a dank hazy ale with the fruit and moderate bitterness, but the pour is translucent. Nice malt body. An odd, but enjoyable, hard to peg IPA.

fort george makes a million beers, like it just keeps coming, and all of them so good! this is fire, super fresh and clean, golden and clear and in the true west coast style. lovely inch of head settles back to a half inch, pure white, huge bubbles, mellow shine to the beer, killer hop profile packed with unique varietals and products in interesting combination, yet real cohesive. never heard of nelson goo before i dont think, but im here for it. the experimental hbc 586 in this too, which is so identifiable, its definitely getting a name soon, this one is here to stay. some cryo up front intensity in aroma and flavor, but not out of balance, this is bitter but its also fruity, the grain is layered but out of the way, and it tastes like it was canned an hour ago, even though its been a few weeks now. peach candy, pine resin, high trichome flower, spruce, coconut, and hash oil, late spiciness too which is cool, like with the bitterness there is a cool little punch on the center of my tongue. after i have a sip and dont have another one for a few minutes, i taste old school smarties candy, and this ends up feeling a little sweet on my teeth, pleasant as can be, but sweeter than it tastes when its actually in my mouth, and somehow this part outlasts what is pretty assertive bitterness. not a ton of malt but it adds body and some appreciable minerality. cool beer, lots of bubbles, dialed in, in some sense traditional in another avant garde, hard to do, wish i had a four pack instead of a single pint can, i could make an evening out of this.

Canned 2/9 , just a week old. Ft.George can really crank out the beer. It's a good, solid AIPA and very easy drinking. Taste is tropical and stone fruit. A little heavy on the tongue, leading to that "dank" body that's a hallmark of IPAs right now. Carbonation is good. Mid-tier ABV of 6.8% hides it well.
