On cask for The Bruery Sucreversary held at The Phoenix Club in Anaheim, CA.
Pours a hazy orange with no head. No lacing on the drink down. Smell is of malt, raspberry, coconut, and vanilla aromas. Taste is much the same with slightly sour raspberry and vanilla candle flavors on the finish. There is a mild amount of acidity on the palate with each sip. This beer has a low level of carbonation with an almost flat mouthfeel. Overall, this is an above average beer that is drinkable but not done very well in terms of emulating the item it was named after.
