On cask at the Bruery's "spirit barrel tour and tasting." Poured by Patrick himself. Black Tuesday straight from the fermentor. Looks like BT. The nose is interesting. The usually expected spirit barrel aroma is understandably missing and with it removed you get to experience BT's Belgian characteristics in all their glory. Aroma is of Belgian spice and alcohol with roasted grain notes. Taste is similarly hot. Like the strongest Belgian dark strong ale you could imagine. Overall a unique experience to taste this infamous beer with the veneer of it's barrel character removed.
