This is basically Black Tuesday blended with an Irish stout that comes in near 4.5%. Then Dark Horse Kenya Baragawi Guama coffee and maple syrup were added.
Deep dark brown in color. The head is more like a milk stout in its creamy, cocoa colored blanket of foam. It's downright beautiful.
Smell has an amazing blend of a deep roasted coffee that also maintains a fruity aspect to it. Then a smooth transition from this fruity coffee, to some subtle bitter roast, to rounded sweetness that comes in sublimely to finalize give an "ahem, there's maple here too." But the maple is smooth and understated.
Mouthfeel is both full and silky. Really walks the line between an Imperial stout and a milk stout.
Overall, a very good blend of a milk stout and an Impy stout. Maybe a tad heavier hand on the maple would be nice. But, definitely enjoyable as is.
