This candy bar inspired barrel-aged imperial stout is sure to satisfy. We added graham crackers, peanuts, cacao nibs, and salt for an end result that is nutty, sweet, salty, and smooth.

375ml bottle poured into an oversize wine glass
A- pours deep brown in color with a one-finger foamy khaki head that has short retention
S- noticeably strong peanut aroma jumps from the glass, followed by notes of bourbon barrel, booze, cocoa nibs, graham crackers, vanilla & toffee. Definitely getting a candy bar vibe
T- sweet and malty up front with notes of chocolate and caramel, mid-palate has a saltiness that adds some peanut flavor and a hint of vanilla. The finish starts to bring out oaky bourbon, with hints of coconut and more caramel. Lingers of chocolate and booze
M- medium-heavy body with low carbonation leads to a thick mouthfeel and an almost syrupy finish
O- a solid ShiT variant, only downside is that the graham cracker didn't really come through in the flavor

A: Poured into a snifter to a black beer topped by a miniscule tan head which fades extremely quickly without a trace.
S: Smells of peanuts and chocolate with some boozy bourbon barrel hiding in the very back.
T: taste is chocolate and peanut with a little bit of salt, slight graham cracker as well with some nice oak, caramel and vanilla coming in as well. Hints of roasted malt but on the taste this one is mostly peanuts and chocolate which isn't a bad thing. On the swallow there's more chocolate, some molasses, peanuts, a lot of salt, and some lingering barrel notes.
M: This beer has a body which is on the upper end of medium with a slightly silky feel on the palate. Carbonation is low but it is adequate for the style at this ABV while the beer has a drying finish due to the alcohol content.
O: Overall this one is pretty tasty. The peanut flavor does dominate a little bit but the flavors are interesting while the beer does have a lot of complexity going on. I wouldn't see this one coming back around again.
