Look - love the port bottle but when it's poured it looks like a dark brown port, nice really head rimming or lacing
Smel - like a deep Barrel aged stout
Taste - More like a blend of a Barrel Aged Stout and a Port
Feel - Consistancy of a syrupy Port instead of a Barrel Aged Stout
Overall - interesting beer.

500ml foiled and corked bottle into a Founders snifter. Shared with schen9303.
Pours flat. No bubbles, no lace. Huge wine-like legs. Nose is boozy and vinous. Lots of red wine grape, sweet soy sauce, and oak. Supremely aromatic. Beer opens sweet soy sauce, rich red wine, grape skin, lots of tannic notes. Oak and booze in the middle with hints of cocoa and more sweet soy sauce. Chocolate, a touch of roast tartness towards the end with huge port notes in the finish and aftertaste. This one really straddles the line but its damn tasty. Body is full with no carbonation. Oily and slick on the palate and goes down boozy with a long, lingering aftertaste. I wish there were some bubbles with a bit more chew here.
Really good overall and shows the possibilities of a wine/beer blend. Worth trying for the uniqueness alone.

Just an absolutely phenomenal beer. This beer blurs the line between wine and beer.
