On tap at the Bruery tasting room.
Golden orange with off-white head.
Nutty, toasted grain aroma with noble hops on the back.
Taste is light carmel, rustic grain, and a nice hop character.
Medium body. Nice hop bitterness on the finish.
Just a phenomenal beer.

Ruekeller Maibock
The Brurey
Package Date: 04/28/2021
When I traveled to California to pick up beer, I purchase several Maibocks. The beer is 44 degrees, pouring it in a Brurey glass. The pour created a light tan head; furthermore, it is airy and foamy. The retention of the beer is excellent, leaving some lacing on the glass as it slowly dissipates. The color is an amber color with dark golden hues. The beer is translucent, with some carbonation bubbles visible.
The aromas in the beer are bready, caramel, toasted crackers, a hint of floral, a smidge of herbal, and a touch of earthiness. The beer has a clean and elegant nose.
The flavors are bready, caramel, toasted crackers, a hint of floral, a smidge of pharmaceutical, a touch of bay leaves, a subtle malty sweetness, and some earthiness.
The mouthfeel is crisp and clean.
The body of the beer is medium, medium carbonation, and medium finish.
Almost everything The Bruery does shows a deft hand at brewing. This beer is no exception, simple, refined, and tasty. I enjoyed drinking this beer.

"Maibock-style lager
Challenging in process, traditional in method. Ruekeller: Maibock is inspired by old-world brewing techniques in the likeness of the traditional name. We crafted this maibock with the finest of ingredients, the utmost of care, and years of experience in brewing extraordinary craft lagers.
Ruekeller: Maibock is a golden lager that’s lightly sweet with toasted malt notes, a light fruity ester flavor, and a touch hop bitterness."
