16oz can. Poured out a crystal clear, golden orange color with a small, fizzy, white head of foam. It left thin rings of lace on the glass. It smelled of tangerine, caramel and a hint of lemon. Lots of tangerine flavor with caramel and a crisp finish.

I've never really been a fan of radlers because they quite often taste more like soda pop with beer added than beer with soda added. This one is neither, it's really just a fruit beer. It's right there on the label, "LAGER WITH TANGERINE", and when you taste it and you get the malt and the fruit and the bitterness you understand that that's exactly what it is. It pours a hazy golden body with an orange sheen beneath a short head of white foam. The head retention is not the best but it will leave some lacing behind. The aroma displays the tangerine with more pulp than fruit over a delicately grainy malt base. The flavor comes on strong with sweet grainy malt, juicy and tartish tangerine, and then hits you with a firm, balancing bitterness at the swallow. It may appear like a soda pop radler at the start but you definitely know it's a beer when the bitterness kicks in. It's 5.3% which confirms it as most radlers are lower in alcohol due to being cut with sugar water. In the mouth it's medium-light in body and crisp with a slightly elevated carbonation. The one drawback to it is that it's fairly one sided. Yes, it's sweet-fruity-bitter but that's the extent of it's complexity. On the upside the tangerine is quite authentic, and on a hot day the fruitiness and bitterness are quite refreshing. You could drink it at anytime but I see it as a great summer beer.
