Fabled Fate pours a dark brown with a smaller, lacing, and long-lasting head. The aroma has notes of dark chocolate and dark dry fruits. The flavors have notes of dark chocolate, toffee, and dark fruits. And overall, well put together. Good feel. Overall, very flavorful, dry, and a bit sweeter.

From the 12.7 oz bottle in a snifter via Bluejacket74! Cheers Dude!
This unique brew pours a muddled dark brown mahogany with a
fantastic head of brown foam that settles to a thick fat ring, thin
layer, and sports some excellent lacing. Nose of dark fruits, dark
chocolate, subtle smoke, brown sugars, and subtle spice nuances
of clove. Flavors follow the nose with dark berry notes of black
and blueberry, subtle dark chocolate, char, subtle smoke, fig, light
brown sugar, and subtle clove. Mouth feel is medium leaning towards
medium full, light carbonation, and finishing moderately dry.
Overall, a unique brew, almost a Belgian stout or porter. Outside of
"the style" but that is what The Bruery does and they do it right!
Cheers
Of note, with warmth raspberry notes make a showing as does an uptick on
the dryness scale as well as a coffee note.

12.7 ounce bottle, 2025 edition, bottled 01/07/25. Served in a chalice, the beer pours dark brown with about an inch or so tan head that stuck around for a while. Decent amount of lacing. I like the aroma, the brew smells like dark fruit, caramel, dark chocolate and some cloves. For the most part the taste is similar to the aroma, but with the addition of some coffee and burnt/charred malt flavors too. Mouthfeel/body is medium, it's a bit creamy and has a nice amount of soft carbonation. I thought this was a good overall brew, definitely worth a try if you get the chance!

A: Poured into a snifter to what is essentially a black beer which is topped b a two finger light tan head which fades slowly to a collar around the edge of the glass with a minimal amount of lacing
S: Smells of toasted malts, caramel, dark fruits, and some spicy and estery yeast notes.
T: Taste is toasted malts, dark fruits, figs some spicy yeast, and caramel. On the finish there's more figs, spicy yeast, toasted malts, a hint of coffee and a touch of cocoa powder.
M: This beer has a body which is on the lighter side of medium. Carbonation is slightly effervescent while the beer has a drying finish showing high attenuation.
O: Overall this is pretty good. It's not the best I've had in this style, but what they do is well executed and fairly interesting. Decent complexity of flavor as well.

Dark brown color. Big, beige head. Doesn't smell like a Belgian ale. Roasted malt, figs, banana, and coffee in the aroma with light funky notes ( don't know if by design or contaminated. Rather dry taste with notes of figs and coffee. Not too bad, but not the best one either.

On tap at the Bruery.
I think this one looks great but does not click some of the style guidelines.
Minor fruit notes get knocked down by smokiness. Low phenols. Just a bit sideways.
