At my lady Pamela's house; canned and chilled, 473mL in a pint glass. From 2024's Toasty Toes Taster Pack at my favourite LCBO at Tecumseh Mall in nearby Windsor. My 8th beer from the Baysville, Ontario brewery, and 6th for 2025. Our 2nd anniversary. With Sundae the cat's permission...

473 mL can from the LCBO, included in their 2024 Toasty Toes sampler pack; dated Sep 11 2024 and served barely chilled. Usually they reveal the identity of these beers a few months after Christmas, but I've been unable to find that information anywhere online.
Pours a foggy pale pinkish-orange colour, topped with nearly an inch of smooth, foamy white head that lasts for five minutes or so. A frothy collar remains, with a small amount of lace scattered onto the glass; looks fine so far. Fruity, tisane-like aroma with hibiscus, strawberry and raspberry coming through clearly; there are also suggestions of rosehips, flowers and elderberry, with just a hint of tropical fruit.
An approachable, fairly palatable fruity tea-infused wheat ale that comes off mellow and balanced. Light flavours of elderberry and sweet apples at the forefront, with hints of wheaty malts, raspberry, strawberry and hibiscus tea cropping up by mid-sip. Finishes with berries and some tea leafy bitterness alongside hints of floral, spicy hops; the aftertaste is weakly fruity, but trends dry. Medium-light in body, with gentle carbonation that adds a little bit of crispness to this wheat ale's soft, smooth mouthfeel. Very easy to gulp back - I'd have even considered a refill, but unfortunately I've only got the one can.
Final Grade: 3.77, a respectable B grade. If a hibiscus/fruited tea wheat ale sounds up your alley, then Lake of Bays' 2024 Mystery Beer One is worth taking a look at. Or it would be, if they actually bring it back at some point - I presume most of the stock is long gone. I wouldn't necessarily call this an exciting or especially memorable brew, but I enjoyed it, and I think it's better than many, if not most of their mystery beers of years past. Good stuff that I'd drink again.
