To honor Edward’s sister, this version of our honey Farmstead® ale—crafted from organic American malted barley, European and American hops, Vermont wildflower honey, and our distinctive farmhouse yeast—aged for ten months in our puncheons—more than Anna, not quite Ann, but enchanting all the same. After patiently observing its arc of development, we present you with a distinct expression of Anna.

Wow. Really excellent offering here that far exceeds expectations. It is kind of like "Baby Ann" in that it has a lot of the same stand out characteristics -- in particular this very prevalent and expressive white oak. The aromas and flavors both have what I can only describe as "freshly sawn board" character that complements the base lightly-sweet-lightly-tart beer very well.

This one pours a clear golden orange color, with a small head, and lots of lacing.
This smells like citrusy funk, honey, floral sweetness, white wine, and oak.
This is quite good, maybe a touch above regular Anna, but not significantly so. That’s not a dig on Anna Puncheon – that’s more of a testament to how good Anna is – something that’s available all the time at Hill Farmstead and only $12. This is super balanced and super soft – with a pleasantly floral and honey-like sweetness, peachy white wine, oak, orange peel, and a semi herbal, mineral like funk.
This is light bodied, clean, crisp, and just super drinkable.
I wish I could have more bottles of this to see how it will develop. It’s quite tasty now, though.
