Packaged on 12/13/22 - enjoyed on 3/10/23 - poured from a 12oz can into my Samuel Smith nonic. Served at 55F.

Dark, coffee liquid with a gentle smattering of almond foam receding to a lasting collar and faint surface slick. Fine, sandy lacing; no legs. Middling retention.

Pleasant roast malt aromatics suggesting ovaltine, coffee, and chocolate. Subtle candied pecan elements.

Milk duds and coffee on the palate entry. The milk-sugar takes over for a while, but is contrasted by a low bitter-sweet/earthy roast malt flavor leading into the long medium finish. Vanilla is restrained. Low hop presence and neutral yeast. Good but a bit one-dimensional.

Creamy, medium-full bodied, with good carbonation and low astringency.

Nice example of the style (rating with that in mind), if a little too lactose-centered for my tastes.

Tar black body; opaque; dense and semi-creamy head, light tan color; . A deeply resonant milk chocolate nose; rich and sweet; very fine underlying whiff of roasted grain. The taste mirrors and amplifies the smell; deeply sweet milk and dark chocolate; very light, subliminal bitterness; not quite anise in the flavor, but close; winsome coffee notes. Heavy body; densely sweet; light velvet tone on the palate.

Simply a rich, decadent milk stout, complex and rich with incredible character.

Nothing remarkable in appearance. Head is relatively short lived. Liquid is dark brown classic stout. Smell and flavor are exactly as advertised ( vanilla, coffee, lactose, oats. Although IMO, the vanilla and lactose overwhelm the subtle coffee. Points added to “overall” for reality matching the advertising, but the lactose is a tad overdone for me. it makes me think I am drinking some chemical infused concoction out of a lab rather than a beer from a brewery.

“You’re money, baby, you’re money!” Nah, Milk Truck isn’t crushing that hard, but me and Mrs Raul are watching “Swingers” right now. Still, as raul dips for another sip… Moon over my hammy, and thank god for Tammy! What? Hell of I know. Live it up.

Mother Earth Brew Co. "Milk Truck Latte Stout"
12 fl. oz. can; the "GENESIS DATE" is illegible
$2.79 @ Total Wine & More, Cherry Hill, NJ

Notes via stream of consciousness: It's poured a black body with dark mahogany brown highlights along the base of the glass and a short head of tan foam. The head initially rose up quite good but now it's dropped although I'm not quite sure I have a "beer clean" glass here so I'll have to give it the benefit of the doubt. The aroma is like fresh and oily coffee beans in a plastic bin at the local coffee shop all ready to be purchased or brewed up! There's some sweetish chocolate there as well. On to the taste... wow, this is a rich beer! It's got coffee, milk chocolate , caramel, darker chocolate, vanilla, and an edge of roasted barley. Ahh, I just noticed that the label reads "BREWED WITH NATURAL FLAVOR" and I'm going to guess that that's the vanilla but I wouldn't have expected that from a brewery named "Mother Earth Brew". On the other hand, maybe "natural flavor" vanilla is better for the planet, so who knows? The only other thing I detect in the flavor of this beer is a light bit of delicate fruitiness that I'd describe as apples and berries, and which is probably coming from the yeast but, again, who knows? It's not that bitter but the acidity of the coffee and dark malts combined with the bitterness that's there is enough to balance it and bring it in mostly dry and roasty. In the mouth it's medium leaning towards medium-full with a soft and smooth, fine-bubbled carbonation. I honestly can't remember when I had a coffee stout this good.

A very smooth milk stout has a bit of agressive malts and some woody taste next to smooth creamy chocolate tones. Has a bit more body compared to other milk stouts I had so I enjoyed it. Well worth the 5 bucks on tap!

At first glance it looked like your normal stout. Slightly thicker than most. At first smell you get complex notes of chocolate and malt with a hint of coffee. At first sip your get prominent chocolate off the top. The would be awesome over ice cream. I give this beer a 5/5. I highly recommend to try this amazing beer. Cheers to everyone Happy New Year.

Poured at fridge temp. Pours black with light tan head. Nose is vanilla, lactose, oatmeal, roasted malts, toffee, and light coffee. This is really nice on the nose. Some dark fruit comes through.

Taste is light and a bit watery. Not surprising given the low ABV. I am honestly not used to drinking stouts that are under 9%, so I won't knock this one for being a bit light. Chocolate, lactose, and coffee come through. It's tasty. Very nice if you are looking for a light stout. Mostly sweet - not really getting any roasted malts or wood on the taste. Definitely some blackberries and cherries.

Mouthfeel is light. Overall, a pretty good light stout.

Added picture you see
Bought a 6-pack cans $10.99 Whole Foods
150 days old
Smell of chocolate, coffee
Heavy-medium mouthfeel, creamy
Low carbonation
Taste of chocolate, coffee, sweet, creamy vanilla , kind of like if you put vanilla ice cream in coffee
Overall it's good as a dessert. One is enough. Would be better if they barrel age it to reduce sweetness and increase ABV to make it a good sipper.

No head, jet black body. Smell is roasted coffee, very distinct, a hint of dark chocolate and caramel too. Taste is what you’d expect, light roast coffee, a hint of chocolate, with a sweet finish and notes of vanilla and caramel. Finish is smooth. Overall, good but not great, what you’d expect from a cold brew type stout.

tasty new one from mother earth, i wish they dropped new stuff a little more regularly, because its always good. this is a nice rich oatmeal stout done with coffee, vanilla, and lactose, and its nice for a number of reasons, the first being that the lactose isnt overdone, this doesnt even finish too sweet because the coffee is so darkly roasted and intense in here, i actually think it balances the beer well, works nice in texture with the creamy oats too, one of the few beers out there right now where i am thankful for its contribution. the base stout is excellent, fuller bodied and smooth, off dry, and without much caramel malt middle sweetness, its about the roast. some big dark chocolate notes in it play real well together. the roast is intense here, bitter and approaching burnt, but its on the front end interestingly so the back half is kind of mellow. light nuttiness to it, the richness of the vanilla which also isnt overdosed to me, and perhaps just a little bit of an english type yeast character keeping it grounded and beery. this is smart beer, a nice recipe well executed and restrained in the right way with the additives. big bold coffee character, delicious base stout, and perfect little pops of accent throughout it, it also warms up nicely. obviously more of a winter thing than a summer one, but well enough made to be appealing anytime. nice work here!

12oz can poured into a nonic; pours very dark brown/black with a fairly large mocha-colored head; the nose really leads with a strong dose of fresh coffee grounds followed by some milky cocoa and vanilla sweetness. Fairly roasted, malty, with plenty of coffee and vanilla character on the palate, smooth and mildly creamy with a present bitterness on the finish. Delivers as a latte-like stout in my opinion.

12oz can from Hops & Bottles. Near black pour, foamy beige head. Coffee first in the aroma, some milk chocolate. Roasty bitterness leads the taste, milk sweetness, bitter.
