Looks: A clear red with fair carbonation when rocking the glass, and a finger of khaki head that settles quickly and leaves some minor lacing.
Aroma: Caramel, a little bit boozy, dough/bready, and a slight bit of a herbal quality.
Taste: Caramel, not boozy, but, leaves a very mild 'off' aftertaste. A little bit bready.
Feel: Very thin/watery, a little below average carbonation, fairly dry, overall.
Overall: Pretty much any SA brew is going to have more flavor and body than this.

Really smooth red. Great balance of hops and malts. One of the best canned red ales i have had. AZ beer is where its at!

This is my go-to beer after work on tap across the street. This time, poured it from a 12 oz can into pint glass.

L - Rich copper color with a reddish hue, a good inch of head that goes away quick, leaves very little lacing

S - Toasted caramel malt, biscuit, very deep, earthy, sugary sweet

T - Typical of red ales, slightly hoppy bite up front, some biscuity malt, and citrus, but mostly malty and a bit of a metallic, astringent quality towards the end. Sticky caramel and toffee throughout but not too sweet

F - Medium-bodied, smooth, coats the mouth a little thick. Light to medium carbonation with a slightly dry finish.

O - I support local/regional brews. Out of about 20 beers on tap at Union, I always come back to this one. Very balanced, very drinkable, a great session beer that is a great example of a red ale. One of my favorites.

Can poured into a BarrelHouse Brewing Co pint glass

A: Pours reddish amber with a frothy off white head that settles to a thin layer and leaves a little light lacing.

S: Toasty biscuity malt, caramel/toffee sweetness, with some floral and fruity notes.

T: Sweet caramel/toffee, toasty biscuity malt, floral, slightly earthy, fruity notes, kinda raspberry, fig, and a light pine bitterness on the finish.

M: Light to medium body, moderate carbonation, a bit creamy.

O: I like this a lot more than I thought I would. It's a great easy drinker.

My favorite Flagstaff beer. The perfect balance of hops and malt, bitterness and drinkability. I have a craving for these after having lived in Flagstaff.

On draft at the Roadhouse cinema in a chilled pint.

Look- although dark in theater could see. Nice red Amber.

Smell- hard to say with all the popcorn around me but got some of the caramel which is why I ordered it.

Taste- there was some of the caramel. Smooth beer

Feel- mellow and balanced

Overall- decent beer that I would get again.
