350ml bottle served in a little Cantillon glass. Blended Feb 15 2017.
Pours a clear muted gold with a medium head and a pretty significant amount of carbonation. Smell is lemon, wood, a little funk.
Taste is tart, funk and wood, with a pretty strong bitterness -- not sure what it makes me think of. Not so much hops -- more fruit skin bitterness. But pretty strong.
Mouthfeel is very dry, light. Overall, it's a solid beer.

Had on tap at JK during recent Austin Beer safari. Absolutely excellent beer. Very nice pour with brief but still nicely formed head; light retained ring and lacing. Gentle nose more green apple / light pear like with hints of straw/barn. Flavor is both refrained and robust. It begins light but as you sip the depth of flavor and complexity really come out. Delicious. Mouth feel is superb. Very nicely natural carbonation that foams so softly in the mouth. Like the very best French champagne. Overall I could have stayed with this all day if I didn’t have much more to try. Grabbed a few bottles for suitcase instead.

This beer is great with spicy brick oven pizza available at the brewery.
Poured at the brewery into a snifter. Clear yellow with a good lasting white head and nice lacing. Tart smell and taste. Sour funkiness with hints of pears, tart apples and apricot.
