Purchased July 2024. Base beer: Imerial stout, bourbon maple syrup, 15%. Fill date/ 04/062021, aging time 33 months. Adjuncts: shredded coconut, roasted hazelnuts, coffee.
Pours black, totally headless. Sweet aroma: maple, brown sugar& bourbon. Taste: lots of sweetness, maple syrup, vanilla, brown sugar, lots of bourbon, ripe dark fruit, coconut, hazelnut & finally the coffee. Feel:virtually no carbonation but plenty of alcohol to compensate for it. Thick & velvety smooth. Lots of stomach heat. Drink it slow & enjoy, one of the best!
