Brewed with over 65% malted wheat, the beer is unfiltered and cloudy from the high-protein content in wheat. The signature flavor in this beer is the banana and clove flavors produced from the yeast fermentation.

they absolutely nailed this one too, not just a lager house then, a wonderful hefe here, elite not just domestically but anywhere, and one they should certainly be proud of, so good to get to drink a few from enegren this past weekend, boy are they doing it right! very blonde starchy looking brew but still delicate in the glass with a frosted haze about it, a high wispy white head befitting of the style, and max carbonation, really lively stuff, love the way it looks. aroma is recognizable with the ferment and the pale wheat malt obviously, but this is unique still too, a distinct minerality here, slate and wet stone, petrichor, dry as a freaking bone, which i love in this, subtle orange with the lemony and banana notes of the yeast too, nice sort of fruit basket thing without it being too much, some raw wheat type character too, maybe its just super pale, but its awesome, very traditional, and the flavor matches the nose, its so good, especially on a hot day. citrus for sure, yellow banana, light elderflower or something slightly perfume-like to me on the back end, still delicate, and really just a fantastic expression of nice wheat too, the grain is as defining as the yeast profile here, as it should be, not generic to me, so much better than the vast majority of these, its very impressive. clean on the swallow, light almost tannic thing on the finish, carbonation absolutely sprinting, each sip as good as the one before it, trace sulfur in a flattering way, deeply earthy, still so light to drink, a technically outstanding example of the style, which is becoming a theme with their beers, this is super dialed in, would buy this regularly if it were available where i live. there is so much bad hefe out there that i forget too often how good a truly great one can be, and this took me all the way there. bravo!

7/13/25 - (Ser*Veh*Zah) (Las Vegas, Nevada) Bar Notes: $8.67 with tax 16oz tulip glass draft pour, 5.0% ABV, 14 IBU. Wheat Beer Hefeweizen.
Appearance: 16 oz clear tan orange unfiltered draft served yields a bright white fine bubble head over the base plus lacing, hard to see the carbonation between light and haze. 3.75
Aroma: Banana, clove, wheat. Medium strength, higher enjoyment. 4.25
Taste: Consistent with aroma, clove and banana, comes through well, wheat, bubblegum very nice. 4.0
Mouthfeel: Light prickly carbonation, definitely comes in sweet but not too sweet. Drinks at the ABV, lightly dry, banana clove all the way. 3.75
Overall: This is a good Hefeweizen, traditional style flavors, a bit sweet but enjoying despite my grumpy bitter preference. 4.0

I don't think this beer lives up to it's name (beautiful day). It is too sweet and lacks the hops and yeast flavor of a real Hefeweizen. I had this on draft at my local bottle shop but it was a bit disappointing.

L: Pours a cloudy straw yellow with a medium white head that dissipates quickly.
S: Freshly milled wheat, some notes of bubblegum and a little orange, can definitely get the hefeweizen yeast.
T: Freshly milled wheat, a little orange a little lemon, a note of bubblegum, enjoy the hefe yeast.
F: Smooth and creamy mouthfeel, good carbonation.
O: A pretty enjoyable hefeweizen

Glass: Clear 16.9-oz. pilsner glass
Price: $2.25
From: Bottlecraft Beer Shop in North Park (San Diego), Calif.
Purchased: July 16, 2022
Consumed: July 16, 2022
Misc.: No canned on date
Had this once before on tap, giving a taster a 4.25 on July 10, 2021 at the Enegren taproom, writing “Finally made it here. Not sure the last time I had a hefe but this is excellent.” Enegren’s website called it “Schöner Tag, which means 'Beautiful Day' in German, is a traditional Bavarian-style hefeweizen. Brewed with over 65% malted wheat, the beer is unfiltered and cloudy from the high-protein content in wheat. Poured a light amber clear color with two fingers of frothy white head. Could see plenty of bubbles coming up from the bottom of the glass. Decent watery lacing. Outstanding retention. (Sight - 4.00)
Smelled banana, Belgian clove, bubblegum, Circus Peanut candy and floral. Not as good from the can. (Smell - 4.00)
Tasted a little better than the nose. In order got banana, Belgian clove, bubblegum, Circus Peanut candy, pear, apple, floral, perfume and lemon grass. (Taste - 4.25)
Medium body. Oily texture. Lively carbonation. Long, fruity finish. (Feel - 4.50)
Another awesome beer from Enegren. Glad I finally picked up a can. (Overall - 4.25)

12oz can. Bottom date stamp reads 'CANNED ON 07/16/2024 PROST!'.
Cloudy/unfiltered pale gold colored body. Two fingers of white head settles back to a thin cap and ring. A few scattered lacing spots are left behind.
Aroma of yeast esters and phenols - sweet banana and cloves. Tangy wheat malt.
Taste has the flavors of cloves and banana. Touch of pencil eraser. A little bit of lemon. Tanginess from the wheat malt. Tangy and malty in the aftertaste.
Medium mouthfeel. Very dry finish. Good carbonation.
Has the hallmark smells and flavors for style. Not overly expressive but yet correct.

Clove forward hefeweizen with some lemon notes. Body is a bit thin for the style...carbonation is pretty strong....I get a little banana on the aroma and flavor a little deeper in....
It's a nice representation of the style but I think the current 90 ratings on this site is a bit much....

canning date is obscured. Consume from a tall wiezen glass on 6/22/24. Likely not too old, based on the retailer habits and other Enegren beers purchased there. Verrrrry tall stiff white head, slowly recedes to 1/8 inch dense cap. A small amount of lacing. Smell and taste as advertised; some clove and banana. Quite nice heavy-ish body. Overall a pretty nice example, but not among the few best.

Murky yellow body, full white head, thick lacing, spot on! Smell and taste are clones: german wheat and yeast meet clove, orange, drops lemon juice, biscuit and a hint of grassy hops, really well done to have old world balance with new world potency. Starts wet and bright, end dry, crisp, and clean, wheat never dims though isn't the showcase either. Really great job here, perfect for a summer day on the porch
