16 oz can. Pours a light pink with a large creamy white head. Aroma is some wheat malt and a light fruit juice. Flavor has more of the guava and some peppercorn. Pretty light all around with very little mouth feel. It did have a decent flavor of guava juice but not much beyond that.

I love the color of this beer, a light pink. It is a refreshing summer beer and my favorite one in terms of fruit flavored beers. It smells like guava and has a tolerable sweetness that makes it drinkable.

To like this beer, I need to think about this as the brewer intended. A refreshing, light, popsicle.
With imagination, it becomes a good experience.
Looks like a guava beverage. Smells almost exclusively like guava. Taste introduces the wheat. Feel? After the softness, it is hard find any hefty grain or spicing.
As a fruit drink, I hope to try another flavor on a warm day.

Taste: Slight sour grapefruit and a hint of guava juice, not much wheat taste, clean finish. Funky nose, with some grapefruit fermented notes. Pink hue, unfiltered, with tall pinkish head and some ring lattice. Lite body. Just not my taste.

From batch canned 4/28/17. Pours a cloudy pink-orange with one finger of creamy white head that settles to a thin ring, streaks of lace down the glass. Hey, it's a beer! Smell: wheat cracker, coriander overdrive, guava. Not as much guava as one might expect or hope for. Taste: guava, creamsicle, coriander, wheat cracker. Light bodied, creamy carbonation, quick finish. Refreshing. This works, though not the best guava beer by far.

If you buy this beer just based on knowledge of the word "paleta" and/or the color of the beer (a pink reminiscent of Pepto Bismol), you'll probably be disappointed. The guava is there, but this doesn't drink like the sweet fruit-flavored juice you'd expect; it's still a beer.
Refreshing and tasty if you like guava, there's wheatiness and almost some salt to it. A delicious beer to have when you want to be refreshed. Just don't go into it think it's a guava popsicle, and you'll be fine.

Pours bright pink with a thin soda like white head. This doesn't look like a beer. It looks like pink lemonade.
Smell is pretty much like a paleta. Its disconcerting. Again, nothing like a beer, but its good for what its trying to do?
Taste has notes of guava and and a light cream flavor. Its interesting. Pretty refreshing.
Feel is light, refreshing, decently carbonated.
This is a weird weird beer. However, for what its trying to do, its actually solid.

Not a bad flavor but lighter than I would have liked. Less like beer more like fruit soda. Creamy pink color, light head, guava smell. Goes down easy when cold, definitely a summer beer.

I Had bought this beer to try out. I figured if it was too fruity, my wife would drink it. Well to my surprise this beer was tasteless. The Smell of the beer had a nice Guava aroma. It has a pure white foamy head, But when you take a sip, it was like drinking fizzy water. In not too sure if the current batch that is in stores is just bad, or the other people rating this as a good beer don't know what a good beer tastes like. In my opinion a fruit flavored wheat beer never works. I brew my own and tried to create a flavored wheat, and there wasn't enough flavor either. Unless this brewer has different batches, stay away from this. I will be returning the remaining bottles to my store.

Like melted guava sherbet, it's bright, almost neon colored, fruity, juicy, semi-tart, but not much else. No real beer like notes or alcohol seeming properties. Hmm...tasty though I suppose.

12oz bottle poured into a pint glass
A: Bubble gum pink with a one-finger head that slowly settles
S: Guava and wheat
T: Pretty bland. Like guava-flavored sparkling water along with a bit of grass
M: Light-bodied, plenty of carbonation
O: Unique, fairly refreshing, just not that complex

Apparently the naysayer here, but this stuff is just not good; comes across like little more than a carbonated water (like Perrier) with a hint of fruity flavor (and not very realistic fruity flavor either). Still better than the macros, but just not good. One review said "best fruit beer I have tried so far"....I suggest you try New Glarus Raspberry Tart or Founders Blushing Monk (another raspberry) to discover what a great fruit beer can be (or try Ballast Point Grapefruit Sculpin, a phenomenal take on a classic). A friend described this as "goat piss"....I wouldn't go that far, but I sure wouldn't recommend it....it's just very flat from a flavor perspective. The coloring's weird, but I don't count that against it (more a novelty point than anything there), with a little carbonation, minimal head, but the flavor's just too "not there," and not real fruity, for this to be considered worth buying again.
