The clear deep golden colored beer pours out into a Duvel glass with a 1/2” fluffy off white head that slowly recedes to a cap and then to a thin irregularly shaped island of foam on the surface with a ring around the glass.while leaving some rings and sheets of lacing on the sides of the glass.. Sipping creates a couple of arches and several legs and lots of small patches of lacing.
The mild but clearly present aromas include some malt along with some herbal, spicy character that seems almost floral as well.
The mild but noticeable flavors include the malt with some almost honey like sweetness and some earthy, herbal and spicy character from the hops.
The mouthfeel is on the light side of medium bodied and lightly prickly with the active, finely bubbled carbonation. The finish begins as the malt sweetness begins to recede first and then be followed the earthy, herbal, spicy hops that recede more slowly and eventually leave the long dry ending to some earthy bitterness that eventually disappears on the back of the palate.
Overall this is a clean, crisp enjoyable beer that I’m finding quite drinkable and wishing I had another waiting in the fridge. While none of the aromas and flavors are intense they are all definitely present, well balanced, and play well together in that none overshadows the other and they are all identifiable at one time or another. This would be a good choice for a summer party on the porch where some of your beer-drinking guests think they don’t like craft beer.

DATE: May 17, 2025... OCCASION: pairing a beautiful Saturday night with a mix pack pick from a brewery I've had a few but look forward to trying a few more... GLASSWARE: lager... pours a heady white four-fingers atop a fresh, swirling golden body rife with bubbles... its lacing is thick coral, its head craggy and mountainous... metallic Saaz, thick doughy bread malts, with banana, pear, and mellow sugars suggest a drinkable, pleasingly clean experience... clean, easy pull with a smooth, almost oily mouthfeel, quick at the throat with a soft, mineral-like exit... feels like the magical bagel water is inherently used here... the bread malts represent well in the flavor profile, as does the hard fruits and metallic ping... light to medium-bodied, right at the 5% aim for a lager with versatility such as this... this is one I would not pass up if it were handed to me or was in a summer party cooler...

(16 oz can, 070120; purchased cold 4-pk from the brewery... poured into a shaker pint)
L: crystal-clear, pale yellow-gold liquid; fizzy adjunct-lager like loose sponge of foam, sizzling out upon tab pop, but somehow crumbling slow in glass... some lacy boogers
S: cereal grain(s), dried lemon peel, lightly-toasted shortbread crust... not a powerful overall intensity, though the perfumy highlights do
T: slight peppery (floral) spice accenting a short/corn-bready grain base... relatively dry finish, lightly husky aftertaste... pungent bitter hop bite lingers; bitter white grapefruit, sweet floral... nicely balanced, nice bitter bite
F: lovely frizzy sizzle biting up front; actually a bit of silky body flowing through; finish has subtle snap off, mild spicy warmth lingering
O: flavors and execution are very much on-point and in-line with other 'classic'-style, throwback pale American lagers I've sampled... a fine-enough beer; would do again, especially if they cut the price a bit (1670)

12 ounce can poured into a tulip glass.
L---Somewhat hazed, bright golden color. Medium white head that faded quickly to a cap. Good lacing. Some effervescence bubbling up from the bottom.
S---Malty. Sweet, like a honeyed biscuit. Some spicy hops for balance.
T---Sweet, with a bit of hops bitterness. Bread & honey.
F---Thicker than I would have expected for a low ABV lager. Not that there's anything wrong with that. Gives it more gravitas. Well carbonated.
O---A solid lager. I can see several of these going down easy on a summer's day.

Smells awesome, thick, bready malts when i popped the cap I knew i was in for an treat. A real lager, I would prefer the classic Yuengling Lager look but that's ok, this is pale. Smooth, rich, delicious, and to top it off I paid $1 for this can. Yes, when I drive by the bar again Sunday,I will (of course) buy whatever's left for $1. Yes, one dollar.

Clear gold orange color with about a medium body. Carbonation is about medium as well
Aroma is grain, biscuit, malt, some citrus and peel, spicy hop grass
Taste is very similar with the bitter spice bite from the hops showing up more in the flavor than the aroma
Overall it was a really nice lager. Maybe it's the fact I had it on a hot day and it just seemed perfect for the moment but I would look for this again
