This beer is our take on the classic American Lager. Made for the working man and woman, this beer is brewed with the finest American-grown barley and hops and is the ultimate reward for a hard days work. Coming in at 4.8%, this beer goes down easier than a 3-day weekend. Cheers!

Good solid lager. Look, smell, taste, and feel are all on point with the style. Color is straw gold with a nice half inch head.
Dissipation is average. Agree with Big Iron that feel is clean, crisp, and refreshing. Simple but good.

This was a single can purchased from a supermarket in La Crosse, WI. It poured a slightly hazy golden colour with a head that dissipated pretty quickly. It had slightly sweet notes of corn and slightly biscuity but not huge. It was very easy to drink so I can imagine sinking a few at a BBQ. Not great but pretty decent.

Absolutely loved the smokiness to it, not overpowering.

Clear light gold appearance
Medium carbonation with about a medium body
Aroma is very mild but still a decent mix of cereal, corn, malt and some crusty bread.
Taste doesn't stray too far from the aroma.
This was a very decent ,easy to get down lager,an excellent post mowing the lawn beer.
Its not work class but its not supposed to be,just a nice flavorful lager that was very enjoyable

Type: 16-oz. can
Reviewed as: American Lager
Glass: Clear 16-oz. Bruges beer glass
Price: $12.00 for a 4-pack
From: Trader Joe’s in College Area (San Diego), Calif.
Purchased: April 23, 2022
Consumed: April 23, 2022
Misc.: No canned on date; Best by Sept. 24, 2022
Grabbed a variety 6-pack and a 4-pack of El Segundo’s Broken Skull Lager after a quick stop with the family. Had been waiting to try this one since I saw Stone Cold pounding these on Wrestlemania XXXVIII in April 2022. I thought the Broken Skull IPA was hit and miss, hit in the beginning but miss in the latest runs. El Segundo’s website described this as “This beer is our take on the classic American Lager. Made for the working man and woman, this beer is brewed with the finest American-grown barley and hops and is the ultimate reward for a hard days work. Poured a pale yellow clear color with three fingers of frothy white head. Could see a bunch of bubble streams coming up from the bottom and along the sides of the glass, kind of snake like on the sides. Average spotty lacing. Good retention. (Sight - 3.75)
Smelled sweet grain, corn, grass, sourdough bread, white cracker, hints of lemon and chalk. Just as good from the can. (Smell - 4.25)
Taste wasn’t quite as good as the nose but still solid. In order got sweet grain, grass, sourdough bread, corn, white cracker, black pepper, hints of lemon zest, chalk and biscuit. (Taste - 4.25)
Medium body. Creamy texture. Lively carbonation. Clean, crisp finish. (Feel - 4.50)
This was about as good as I could have hoped. Just an excellent lager. Will be getting much more of this, especially for $10 for a 4-pack. (Overall - 4.25)

Poured from a can. Golden in color with a white head. Smells are light, malt, grain and maybe honey. Light but good flavor. Malt, honey and an earthy hint. Refreshing and easy to drink.

16oz can served in a pilsner glass. Date stamp on bottom of can: BB 01 Dec 23 SEGBSL011 13:23:53
Appearance Pale gold/straw color, thin white head. Some thick strands of lacing that slowly slid back down the glass.
Smell: Not a lot going on - pretty clean with maybe a hint of something herbal.
Taste: Clean and crisp, a little sweet, a hint of apple, very mild bitterness at the finish.
Mouthfeel: Fizzy, dry finish.
Overall / Drinkability: Well, it's an American Lager alright. I'll admit the name caught my attention, but it doesn't have much going on, and is a bit boring. One is enough.

As advertised on the can, it is an easy drinking lager, definitely sessionable, even at 16oz...
Liked the look with its bright yellow coloration and little to no head. The smell was very wheaty but somewhat also-ran as far as lager scents go. Mouthfeel is light, crisp and definitely not overcarbonated. The taste is very mild, not much malt, not much hops, not much of anything - which is why you could probably down several of these in one sitting. Overall, a solid lager, one that hits the spot on a hot summer's day...

Batch number 008, 08:06 on bottom of the can.
L - poured a clear to medium straw yellow with two finger white puffy head, which dissipated fairly quickly. Little to no lacing.
S - slight grain smell with malt. More noticeable as you go further into the beer.
T - follows the nose.
F - pretty smooth with a light mouth feel. Fairly crisp.
O - not a bad beer but not too much going on here for me. Very easy drinker though.

Its a nice see-thru pale gold with a foamy head, would look great on film like the rattlesnake himeself.
Dank pungent malty smell with a bit of pine, corn, a slight touch of citrus
Taste follows the nose, malt forward, with a bit of corny aftertaste tinged with lemon.
Goes down easily and finishes decently enough. I give it an Oh Hell Yea.
