2l Growler from the Liquor Shed Jandakot.
A - Pours a clear Amber colour with a minimal head that reduces quickly
S - Funk and salty water brine aromas, with a little a green apple and lemon
M - Light to medium with fullish carbonation
O - Classic Gueuze. And this Lambic delivers on what you would expect. This brewery is so very under rated. In my eyes it sits beside Drie Fonteinen and Cantillon as an equal and better still it does not carry the price tag.

Gueuze orange mostly clear pour with a khaki/cream collar and sporadic lacing. Smells of your usual funks, especially barnyard, lemon, slight green apple, musty oak and a hint of general sour fruits. Taste however is a deep adventure: horseblanket, barrel, basement, barnyard and cheesecloth funk all there impressively, sour lemon, hint of peach skin and orange slice, whisper of pear, all backed by musty and complex oak, finished with a hint of flower petals. Feel is funky more than anything, appropriately sour, yet so smooth and dries out through the sip. Beautiful gueuze

Clear bright golden appearance with a foamy white head and minimal lacing. Fruity citrus notes, lemon, plum, oak. Medium body, medium to light carbonation.

Quick review from written notes. Thanks to everybody for the assist, shared with a dozen-ish lambic lovers. Dark amber orange, initial burst of foam in the glass then a glassy surface and spotty lace. The bottle gushed a little bit when opened.
Briny aroma with more of a mature barrel presence from the additional 20% of 3 year lambic. Mild oxidation, old wood, preserved lemons.
Moderately acidic, lemon, lychee, mellow oak and light oxidation. Bright and sharp, maybe a little more of the older Cantillon character, and slightly less of the standard Tilquin tropical/peach elements. Different from the standard blend for sure, the older lambic is noticeable and was the key feature of the blend to me.
Cheers to Pierre and crew for 10 years of excellent lambic blends. Here’s to many more years!

4oz pour from a bottle in a wineglass at St. Gambrinus Beer Shoppe in Brooklyn.
Pours mostly clear bronze with a small to no head. Smell is tart, almost gooseberry.
Taste is similar, a bit of funk.
Mouthfeel is light, smooth, dry. Overall, very good beeer.
