DATE: August 19, 2016... OCCASION: Camp Six--the best and last, in the books... time to celebrate... GLASSWARE: HopDevil nonick... from a growler filled six hours ago at the Liquor Factory in Jefferson... wow--a dense, opaque, light amber body with a snow white head that holds a two-fingered creamy thickness... the upper part of the head arcs in coral-like beauty... 100% Citra hops frame the grapefruit and melon well, with some background dankness and light cracker...quite a light aroma, welcoming and appropriate for such a beautiful night.... the mouth feel is smooth and creamy, with a simple, soft effect at the teeth and a balanced finish at its end... highly drinkable, not betraying its 5.2% ABV... for a pale ale, the brewer's proclamation is true: this beer's hops tower explode withe grapefruit, watermelon, lemon and orange peel--a veritable buffet of citric flavors... a brewery that attempts a singular profile is refreshing--and this one is refreshing as it is... the citrus almost puckers the lips, but overall, flavorful and drinkable...

-tap pour at Agricola in Princeton, a pretty and bright orange-amber with some haze. -One cm of sticky fluff on top followed by fine lacing. The aroma is orange-citrus and flowers from a distance. The flavors are BIG with citrus hops, lemon, orange and some tropical notes. The malt body includes a dry, cracker-like aspect. The finish is crisp and clean.
This sounds like a pedestrian review (not a writer), but this is one of the best beers I have ever enjoyed. I had two to be sure. If it was available in my local alehouse I would make a daily visit for one. -truly superb

I suspect there aren't more reviews for this brew due to its limited distribution. Kane only distributes directly to bars and liquor stores in Jersey. I feel sorry for those who do not have access to their offerings. If you ever have to opportunity to taste this beer, do not pass it up! I was lucky enough to come across it at the Irish Mile in Haddon Twp and have been thinking about it ever since.

I joined Beer Advocate to Rate this Beer.
It was stellar.
It may be personal Preference, but this is an absolutely world class Beer to me, Its actually hard for me to reason with that notion due to the fact I grew up 20 minutes from this place.
I actually had the pleasure of having a friend from Mass bring me a growler of Treehouse Eureka on the same day. Beer of similar style and the Kane was by far the better beer.
I wish I could upload a Photo of it, It is a cloudy, orange yellow that you cannot see through, with a one finger bright white head.
Smells Heavily of Citrus and Pine.
The more You drink the more pronounced the Flavor becomes, Hits all the usual Citra notes, but just done very well. Extremely flavorful without being over bearing.
